How did the values and beliefs affect the Ancient Indian civilization?
Ancient India had many values and beliefs, one of the main one that they created was called the caste system. Which made some people better than others and affecting society in a way that only the better people could do better things in life that the worse cannot do, this was the same as many other values and beliefs, affecting society that everyone is treated differently by looks, wealthiness and many other things. A belief that affected society a lot was when they had a festival or a celebration it could never be at a home and it had to include all the community or the whole neighbor hood, people who didn't follow this rule would get punished. Are they still relevant today? Ancient India culture all began with one of the first human civilizations (thousands of years ago). They are still all popular in India culture today, all the ancient Indian religions are still relevant today. Most things are the same but some things are different, for example in ancient India they believed in Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam. They are still relevant today in modern India society and are starting to spread around to different places like Asia. |
How have they impacted modern India?
They have impacted modern India because ancient India had many beliefs and many values. Ancient India had beliefs that modern India didn't believe in and thought they were terrible, but still went along with them. Modern India has a very high poverty population and people are struggling to live there, they don't all believe in the same things therefore get punished for that. Activity:
